This handsome, cheerful, ready-for-anything Doberman has an unusual back story.
He was a stray that showed up at a family home while they were away on vacation. The motion set off their camera and pinged them. They watched him hanging around, and on their way home they bought a bag of dog food for him. He was overjoyed at the company, kindness, and good food. They of course immediately grew fond of him and would love to have kept him. Unfortunately, they live in a rental home, and it wasn’t going to work out. Thankfully, they found us and brought him here to Elijah‘s House. All three were crying when they surrendered him, but they know it is the best place for him to find a loving home where he can live inside with a loving family.
It’s clear from his time with us already, that he’s a happy, playful, interactive fellow who is eager for love and attention. And he has a beautiful blue coat. The only thing missing is a true, forever home. Oh, and being an untrained Doberteen, he needs a little obedience work on leash walking and jumping.
