We don‘t know much about this Doberteen other than that someone had two of them and couldn‘t handle two young Dobes, so they surrendered them to a shelter The litter mate was adopted from there, and Rescue Angels helped this one find her way to DRT.
We see that she’s in excellent health, good form, and has a beautiful blue coat. As with most of the dogs that come to us, upon arrival she was watching to see what the “plan” was and what was expected of her in this new-to-her environment, but she clearly is open, interested, interactive, and wanting to connect. She‘s full of life and ready for the next adventure.
Observations from our volunteers: “My meeting with Drusilla was limited to a brief introduction in the corral this morning. She was a tiny bit shy, but she came over to me frequently as Carol and two other volunteers were there, too. She seemed very gentle and has a beautiful blue coat. She is a petite size and has a striking profile.”
"Daisy is a playful youngster that is starting to blossom at DRT. She loves to play and run from the other side of the fence with the other dobes. I think she might even be the ever so rare “water dobe” as she will walk right into the large outdoor troughs without hesitation. She also seems to dunk her entire head in the water as she hasn’t grasped the concept of drinking water with her tongue. Beautiful blue coat that definitely is prettier in person than in photos! This rascal is also one of those dobes that will always put a smile on your face!"
Not much else to add - this is a lovely little girl in need of a home - everything about her is positive, just one thing lacking. If you think you may be the missing ingredient, follow the sequence: apply, acceptance, appointment, arrive, acquaint, away.
Perhaps she’ll be the joy of your life before long. |
