This charming wee lass came to us from a residence where, at her young age, she had been used for breeding. Her former owner indicated that “She only had one litter of nine,” but her teats suggest that she did more than her share of nursing.
Having been used to breed, she unsurprisingly is a bit tentative initially, even being hesitant, at the beginning, to have a leash put on her. That passed almost immediately, once she realized it was only to take her someplace good, so to speak.
She loves to run, and she truly amuses herself going from one big exercise field to the next. It must be quite a liberating experience for her. She’s a bit of a blank slate, but her natural personality and sweetness are showing through nicely, and it’s apparent that she will be a delightful, liberated, interactive companion as she grows into the freedom and joy of life she now experiences.
Volunteer observations: “What a pretty petite Dobergirl! I was able to spend a few days watching her blossom. At first, she was a little shy and of course confused in her new world. Once she relaxed and was able to go into one of the larger fields, she opened up. I think it was the first time she was able to run and play in a wide-open space. It was so fun to see her run as fast as she could. She‘d zoom by with a happy grin on her face like Speedy González. Once she spent time running, jumping, and exploring, her personality blossomed. She wanted to play and has a silly side to her.”
Here‘s a little girl with an apparently limited past, that is just waiting for someone to spend time with and teach her the fun that life has to offer her. If you think your home may be a match, here’s the sequence: apply, approval, appoint, attain, away.
