What a happy, playful, inquisitive, and engaged little Dobergirl this is! Sadly, she has come to us following a divorce when her mom had to move in with parents and there are pet allergies. Divorce is always hardest on the kids, and dogs are kids too.
Her former mom tells us that she pulls a bit on leash, may occasionally jump up if excited, knows to sit, stay, and “lay” on command. She adds that Balbire “loves to run and play at the dog park, loves to chase and play tug of war, and oddly enough, hates fetch." Her favorite toys include Yak bones and antlers and squeaky toys, but she destroys plush/cotton toys!
Volunteer observations: “Balbire is as cute as they come! She is very friendly and just seems to have a great personality. We keep saying "I can‘t believe she is six years old," as her personality suggests she is much younger. She’s playful, curious, and comfortable in her own skin. She is easily manageable and just puts a smile on your face as you hang out with her.”
By all accounts and observations, this is a great little gal who will adapt nicely to a new home and family. If you think yours may be the one, make an appointment to meet her once your application is approved, and come along for a visit. Odds are you wont be leaving without her if you do. |
