(Since early in the war with Ukraine, DRT has been using Ukrainian city names to support the war effort and the fight for freedom.)
In my view, the only thing better than one Dober is two together. There’s really not much as moving as seeing two Dobermans playing (or lounging, or ANYTHING) together - it’s just an awe-inspiring, peace-inducing sight.
Olena and Odesa came to us from a home where divorce caused their displacement. It’s always hardest on the “kids,” and they were both showing a bit of shell shock on arrival with us, wondering what happened to their family and home and unsure of what lay ahead. In their short time with us, they’re responding well all the same, and it’s clear they’re going to make outstanding companions once they’re in a new, forever home with a loving and appreciative family.
You can see from their pictures what a eye candy they are, but still pictures can’t do justice to how they move and interact together - truly inspiring.

“Olena is a very pretty female, albeit a tad on the petite side. She is definitely bonded with Odesa and relies on him to be the brave one when getting introduced to new people. She is super sweet when she begins to trust. To my observation, she has a sensitive soul and will really bond with those who show they will take care for and love her.”
“Olena: This petite girl is a bit shy and reserved, initially. She stayed back for a while until I sat on a bench and her playmate Odesa gave me his stamp of approval. Even then she wasn’t as relaxed as he was, but she did come up and sniff my face as I gently rubbed her ears. Later in the day, she hung back a bit at first, but then came up to me. She likes to play with Odesa and to explore her surroundings.”
“Odesa is a beautiful red male that is bigger than he seems at first glance. He’s a really gentle fellow that seems to be pretty laid back. He’s a bit slow to say hello at this point, but he’s definitely friendly when he comes up to meet. I like this guy‘s personality a lot. He really takes care of Olena and seems to know that’s part of his job. But I think he also wants to love a human and receive love in return.”
“Olena and Odesa are a perfect pair as they play very well together and keep each from getting bored. It’ss fun to watch the two of them as they jump on each other and chase, and I haven‘t observed an instance where things "got serious" between them. They are one of the best bonded pairs to come through DRT in a while. Two can seem like a handful at times, but I don‘t get that feeling from these two (that they would require too much additional work). Entertaining each other with their play, they may at times even make life easier!”
If grace, beauty, intelligence, and quiet, joyful interaction appeal to you in Dobermans, make an appointment to meet this beautiful pair of Dobermans. Whatever you were hoping for in a Dober, you’ll find the sum is greater than the parts with these beauties.
