This beautiful teenage Dobergirl is full of joy and energy and just itching to play and interact.

Her family  fell on hard times, losing their home in the process. They faithfully boarded their dogs for months in the hope of being able to provide a home for them once more, but with no prospects on the horizon and the costs of boarding depleting their already-meager finances, they were compelled to surrender them.

Here’s how they describe it:
“We lost our home at the end of June and subsequently had to place our dogs in boarding. We are no longer able to continue paying for that service and need to surrender the dogs to a reputable rescue that may be able to take them in and give them the care they need. We love them and want to make sure they are able to live the life they deserve.”

It’s a sad story, indeed, but thankfully DRT exists for the very purpose of helping in such a situation.

Lozova (Ukrainian city name) is just about as happy and engaged as can be, ready at any moment to be involved with anyone who can spend some time with her. She knows several commands, including to sit, stay, wait, and get it (for food). She’s high energy and loves to play, and overall is just a joyful, happy companion.

Volunteer comments:
“This energetic young girl is quite expressive and loves to be close to people. She has a sweet personality and walked very well on the leash, never pulling, just out in front of me but going at my pace.” "She was a treat to play with! I would put her on the higher energy side and loves to run and stroll around outside. She played with people for a bit and then would stroll around on her own for a bit. She loved coming up to people to be pet while we were playing in the field with her and was gentle when doing so.  Overall she had a fun, outgoing, but gentle personality and would make a great addition to a family!"

From my observation, you won’t find a nicer, less complicated Dober to make a part of your family. If you have the interest in bonding with her and guiding her into adulthood in the months ahead, make an appointment to meet her once you application is approved, and come get to know her a bit in person. There’ll be no disappointments, if you do
