interested in the cat.  Poked at it to play, but easily pulled away.
Good with older children.

So, I’m thinking the pictures alone are going to place this fellow - no real need for me to write anything!

That having been said, here’s what we know.  He came to us because his family had to move to a place where Dobermans aren’t allowed and, with their change in circumstances, no one would be home with him during the day.

He loves to play with ring toys and Kong toys; he loves to run and play with his humans.  He loves to play with “puzzle” toys and very much enjoys human interaction.  He’s great with other dogs and only pokes at the cats as though interested/curious/wanting to play.

Here’s what our volunteers think:
“This young, male Dober has outstanding looks and temperament.  He has the looks that you see in the annual Doberman calendars we receive!  He loves to play but doesn‘t play too hard -  he plays to have fun with his humans but doesn‘t treat games with a level of competitiveness that we see from more competitive Dobers.  I spent some time with him inside, and he showed instant appreciation for my having come to hang out with him.  Sit on the floor, and he’ll quickly take over your lap, lying motionless as he expectantly awaits a loving belly rub!”

“If I didn’t have my hands full with two Dobers already, this guy would have gone home with me yesterday!  He’s one of those dogs you hope for and are darn lucky if you ever find.  His obviously striking appearance and gentle playful nature will win you over as soon as you meet him. He had me as soon as I sat down with him inside.  He’s quite a guy!  If you can’t tell already, I’m envious of the family who will be lucky enough to take him home!”

As you can see, the written description only confirms what the pictures tell.  Don‘t hesitate a moment to make an appointment to meet him once your application is approved.  He’ll be going home with the first family to do so.
