This pretty little Dobergirl was found lying beside a hiking trail by a young couple out for a walk.  They passed her by on the way out, but when they came back along, she walked towards them and they could see she was dehydrated and limping.  They took her home and tried unsuccessfully to find her owners.  Subsequently these first-time Rescue Angels saw that she made it safely to Elijah’s House, where she is now in our care as she awaits a true forever home.

She arrived with ear infections, but those are being treated and are responding well, soon to be entirely cleared up.

We named her Lina, which in Chinese means “beautiful and graceful” and is also thought to mean “small, blue flower.”

Volunteer comments:
"Lina is a little princess. She is very kind and loving. By Dober standards she is a little small, but that just makes her even cuter! She is one of the blues that just immediately catches your eye when you first see her. In my opinion, she is a can‘t-miss adoptee, as she is gorgeous and really doesn‘t have any negative personality traits. She is quiet, friendly, very affectionate, healthy, laid back, and does well when left by herself. The family that comes to claim Lina will be getting a "show off" dog. That is not to be confused with an arrogant dog but rather a dog that you can‘t wait to show off to all your friends. Come see how special she is!"

And Mama Carol adds, "She is friendly with the other Dobers and even play bows with the 100-pounder, Tribute.  It is too cute to watch such a gentle giant play with this petite little girl."

As you may infer from her pictures, she’s a quiet, gentle, loving little girl who longs to be in a home where she will be loved and prized.  If you think your home may be a match for this petite Dobergirl, make an appointment to meet her once your application is approved, and come prepared for loving kisses, if you do.
