Found as a stray, this is yet another strikingly attractive and well-mannered Dober who has been overbred and apparently abandoned by an avaricious owner.  She wasn’t out long apparently, because her weight is about right, but as is usually the circumstance in cases such as this, she has heart worms and needs that costly and risky treatment.  (If your heart is moved on her behalf, please consider donating toward that additional, significant cost.)

The testament to her motherhood and the advantage taken by the breeder is evident in her enlarged teats.  While they will shrink some, she will likely always carry this visual reminder of what her previous experience had been.  That of course in no way diminishes the outstanding Dober that she is in every way.

Volunteer comments:
“She’s a striking female, a real beauty.  She has been overbred, but that hasn't affected her sweet disposition or her desire to run around and play.  She likes a nice fuzzy toy to chew on, but don't expect her to be eager to bring it back to you.  She is more of the show off, "Look what I have" type Doberman who likes to proudly prance around with her trophy for all the world to see.  Yolanda is a Doberman that will fit in nicely with just about any home.”

“I didn’t spend much time with her because she had just been spayed, but she seems like a sweet girl.  She happily wagged her tail upon meeting me.  I took her to the corral and back and knelt down and loved on her.”

“Despite just having had surgery, she was sweet to me.  She put her head under my arm and leaned in for me to pet her.”

This is yet another outstanding Dober who was taken advantage of and then discarded.  If you think you may be the one to provide her first true home and family, make an appointment to meet her once your application is approved, and come see for yourself what a lovely Dobergirl this is.
